On March 30, 2023, I asked a bystander, "Would you give up pizza to stop rape, and why so?" to which he answered "I would give, give up my whole everything".
It was a long conversation where the bystander agreed it is cruel for the animals, but since it has been normalised him, it was hard for him to relate it to cruelty.
