"Know Thy Enemy": NARD 16 Animal Liberation speech
On June 13, in Bangalore, we observed the National Animal Rights Day (NARD 16), where I spoke about the various barriers to animal liberation, including, but not limited to: Zionism, casteism, classism, patriarchy, corporate loot, colonisation, imperialism, suppression of workers’ rights, environmental destruction, land-grabbing, and deforestation. I spoke how boycotts isn't enough to achieve animal liberation, because humans oppress non-human animals in ways other than exploitation. In an anthropocentric world, human concerns concern non-humans too. This is the politics we are not talking about as animal liberationists and for the sake of justice, we must not ignore it.
